"I started my training journey as a teenager walking and training dogs in my local area.

Over the years, I have seen 13 puppies through my doors as part of the Guide Dogs volunteer program for puppy raisers. Through this voluntary work I also developed my mentoring skills by providing additional coaching to other local puppy raisers who were struggling with their pups.

After a while, I began working an office job to support my growing family, so my work with dogs was put on hold...

I'd been navigating the challenge of Kobi, my own German Shepherd, who was struggling with reactivity.  There was very little active, meaningful support for large breed, adolescent dogs and I felt very lost in the new training world based around the "Instagram Reality" and that anything more difficult than puppy behaviours was out of reach or just not practical.

The feeling of being a failure and failing Kobi was the worst, so after some soul searching and reflection I recognised that it was time to ignore the "insta model" & use the experience and knowledge that I had gained with my own dogs, family & friends dogs/puppies etc.

It wasn't easy but I knew it was the right decision for US!!  By resetting and rebuilding our relationship our confidence grew & grew.  Since that day we haven't looked back, it wasn't a quick fix at all, but by crikey it was worth the time and resolve we both had.  I now have the most amazing relationship with Kobi & there is nothing that we can't tackle together.

While working with Kobi, I found myself talking with people in the same situation, feeling the same "helplessness" & had many people suggesting that I start offering services to them & others........ & so Pup2K9 Training was born.  I now have an ever growing group of clients, all of whom have come from personal recommendations as I don't advertise on any platform.

We have the most supportive caring network of people who are all at various points on their training journey, they are all there for each other celebrating their wins, offering a shoulder to cry on or rant about on those days when it's not been as good & by making their training journeys fun and motivating.

I love watching their progress & seeing them grow into self-assured dogs and owners through their training journey.

I am super proud of what Pup2K9 has become & what it continues to grow into.

I was in a very bleak place with Kobi in the past, I know how it can feel when the guilt and frustration hits hard, you feel like there is no outside of your four walls who knows what it's like or that can help you navigate the difficult times - my ethos and goal to help those struggling with their pups, who are feeling the same & help them find that light at the end of the dark tunnel.  We have no judgement, no hard and fast "cans and can'ts" & definitely no preaching or fixed ideologies.

Kobi is a prime example of how there is no singular solution to help your pups, he is my stooge dog and a wonderful support for clients and pups alike.  All my clients are all using various strategies and processes to support their dogs and are progressing along their own bespoke training journey

2025 is going to be the year where they make many many wonderful new memories.
